If you’ve been following me you’ll know that although I often give out free tech tips, I have mixed feelings about technology. Too much is a bad thing, and AI is the pinnacle manifestation of the dark-side of technology. That said, I’m only able to reach you via the wonders of the internet, podcasts, videos on Rumble and so forth. So I see technology like a tool, a knife if you will. In the right hands it can do wonders (like make dinner) but in the wrong hands it can do harm! And so my responsibility is to find that balance of using tech for good, and not letting tech get in the way of the good I do. Having studied and/or worked in IT for many years I’ve learnt a few things and the Tech Zone is a place where I share useful tech tips and knowledge with you. So that if, like me, you’re a creative person, then you might find benefit from what I share. My goal with the Tech Zone is to share what’s useful, focusing on FOSS (Free Open Source Software). You wont find anything to do with Windows on here, we don’t support Mr Gates. But you’ll find a fair bit about Linix and other geek stuff. BTW if you’re a digital creative, you’re a “geek” so embrace it as a positive ๐ Right if you’re still reading this ramble then check out the links below. if you find anything useful please buy me a coffee – it’ll be appreciated as it will help me to do more of this creative work and sharing – God bless x
